Brown Fat
Cold wind no longer sends shudders down my spine.
This new sensation is boldly numb like my skin is thick the way a lacquered bowling ball is hard.
The breeze tempts me to run longer, be more resilient though my legs no longer strain.
The test is purely mental.
Focus on the breath; the will.
Paces add up to nothing; it is just the lightness of air and I am taking my first breath in this
new direction.
